Our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
It is with love and peace in our savior Jesus Christ that this letter is written. We pray that it finds you in good spirit and well being.
Be it known to all of us, that the current state of the Assyrian Christians throughout the world is not what any of us would wish it to be. And while members of our community have at times tried to organize events and ideas to help our current situation, it seems as though these actions have had little effect on bringing our Christian society together. Let’s change that today!
In a world that sees Israelis And Palestinians joining hands, Turk’s and Greek’s building homes together, Black’s and White’s constructively arguing over running the world’s strongest country together, and Jews and Germans sharing a meal together, it is a wonder why Assyrians Christians have failed to accept our own fellow Christians, as Jesus the one whom we believe in preached and showed when he accepted everyone including the commoner who was lame, poor, or even a prostitute who washed his feet.
What is a Christian, but someone who has decided to entrust his life to Jesus Christ, someone who seeks forgiveness, and someone who asks for guidance in life. A Christian is not one who is defined by his celebration of Christ's birth on December 25th, January 6th or 7th. Therefore everyone is welcome to join the youth group. All you need is a heart and faith.
"God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17
“Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” (Vs.8)
The church would be delighted in joy to have the opportunity to have new youth join our church, when convenient for you, please visit our church office after Sunday mass and ask to discuss the details and the importance of this position or fill out the form below this letter.
Let us bring change into a world in need of it.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Youth Group
